Perfectly hardened urushi is generally considered safe and does not typically cause allergic reactions. However, in rare cases, some individuals may experience skin irritation depending on their sensitivity.

If you notice any discomfort or unusual symptoms, please discontinue use immediately and consult a medical professional.

Kintsugi Repairs

The kintsugi design features real urushi and gold powder for decoration.

In the event of chipping or if the gold powder wears off, we offer repair services.

Repair fees may vary depending on the extent of the damage, so please contact us by email first.

TOCT consider the natural patina and color changes of gold over time to be part of the design.

We hope you enjoy the aging process as well, but if you would prefer to have the gold reapplied, feel free to contact us.

Polishing Service

We also offer product polishing (outsourced).

From ¥2,000 per item.

Each piece is hand-decorated by TOCT artisans using traditional kintsugi techniques. As a result, no two pieces are exactly alike.

We appreciate your understanding of these natural variations.

As all TOCT products are made to order, production and delivery take time.

We kindly ask for your patience. After placing your order, we will inform you of the estimated shipping date, and once your item is ready, you will receive a notification at the email address you provided.

Please note that items with kintsugi design require 1 to 1.5 months for the urushi to fully cure.

This process may result in slight individual variations.

Additionally, due to the nature of tinplate, small scratches or marks may be present.
