Bound Together, In Harmony
Renri
When two branches become bound together, becoming one.
A firm bond
is not two identical forms overlapping.
It is when a part of two different things
takes on the same shape, the same color,
and comes into beautiful harmony.
Being the same from the beginning,
or gradually becoming the same.
They blend together and become deeply connected.
Person to person.
Person to culture.
Culture to society.
Every bond, in turn,
gives rise to a new kind of harmony.
Once two things have blended together,
it is not easy for them to separate
and become entirely independent again.
A bond is firm.
It does not easily come undone.
At times,
this can give rise to discord.
Because, at their origin,
they were two different forms.
Yet if we look at what lies beneath our feet,
there are certainly forms and colors
that exist in beautiful harmony.
And still,
we look only at the differences
and lose sight of them.
Between one person and another,
there are so many differences—
in thought,
in environment,
in background.
And yet, people continue to become connected.
Accepting their differences,
parts of them overlap,
and they come into harmony, gently and flexibly.
Two different things become bound together,
gradually becoming a single form.
May that beautiful bond
be Cherished.
